Mopar Express Lane, Traveling Dealer Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mopar Express Lane, Traveling Dealer Consultant based in the United States.

The Mopar Express Lane, Traveling Dealer Consultant is a field-based role focused on strengthening service operations across assigned automotive dealerships.
You’ll install, train, coach, and expand Express Lane programs while helping dealership teams improve processes and performance.
The role combines hands-on automotive expertise with training, consulting, relationship management, and performance analysis.
You’ll work directly with dealership personnel, leadership, ownership, corporate teams, and other stakeholders to drive program adoption and growth.
Success requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to translate program standards into practical dealership processes.
This is a highly mobile position supporting dealerships throughout the New England region, with travel representing the majority of the role.
The ideal candidate is confident in front of groups, comfortable working independently, and motivated by measurable operational improvement.

Accountabilities
  • Provide onsite training, coaching, and counseling to dealership personnel on Basic and Advanced Express Lane functions.
  • Install and support Express Lane programs at assigned dealerships, ensuring teams understand and consistently apply required processes.
  • Maintain adherence to factory guidelines and program standards while identifying opportunities to improve dealership execution.
  • Develop and implement practical dealership processes that support service performance, customer experience, and program growth.
  • Create action plans based on dealership needs, review progress with upper management, and follow through on agreed improvements.
  • Measure dealership performance using available reporting systems and established benchmarks, including Salesforce, profitability, customer experience, tires and parts, MVP, MSER, and other assigned metrics.
  • Plan and coordinate travel in accordance with company guidelines and communicate travel and training plans to the assigned field manager as required.
  • Manage daily activities both onsite and remotely, maintaining clear records and providing regular activity updates to leadership.
  • Present and facilitate program training, guidance, and educational sessions for dealership teams and larger groups.
  • Prospect for additional program opportunities and engage dealership management or ownership to support program expansion.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of dealership visits, program progression, activities, challenges, and outcomes.
  • Communicate roadblocks, risks, and other concerns promptly to field management and collaborate on appropriate solutions.
  • Represent the organization professionally in all dealership, seminar, event, and stakeholder interactions.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as business needs evolve and as directed by management.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with an Express Service Program in an OEM dealership or retail environment, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive and truck maintenance and repair, with the practical expertise needed to work credibly with dealership service teams.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering onsite dealership or field-based training.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly to individuals and groups.
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills, with the ability to track multiple dealerships, initiatives, and deadlines.
  • Ability to build productive relationships with dealership personnel, management, ownership, corporate stakeholders, and field leadership.
  • Comfortable working independently in a highly mobile, field-based environment and managing changing priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 95%, including frequent overnight stays.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods at dealerships, seminars, and events, as well as sit for extended periods during travel or events.
  • Ability to occasionally set up seminar booths and lift or transport equipment weighing approximately 10–25 pounds.
