General Cleaner – 1st Shift | Airport Parking Garages in Orlando, Florida at FCS Facility Services

Pay Rate: $15.25 per hour

Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Days Off: Two weekdays off; weekend work required

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking General Cleaner to join our team at the Orlando International Airport parking garages. This position is responsible for keeping parking areas, stairwells, walkways, elevators, restrooms, and other assigned areas clean, safe, and presentable.

• Sweep and clean parking garage floors, ramps, stairwells, and walkways.
• Remove trash, debris, spills, and other materials from assigned areas.
• Empty trash containers and replace liners as needed.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Clean elevators, entrances, exits, payment areas, and other high-traffic areas.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and properly.
• Assist with pressure washing and other cleaning projects when needed.
• Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or damaged equipment to the supervisor.
• Follow all company and airport safety procedures and wear required PPE.

• Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work safely around vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable transportation is required.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, and pull throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Because this position is located at Orlando International Airport (MCO), candidates must successfully complete the required airport background screening, including a 10-year background history review, and meet all requirements to obtain and maintain a GOAA security badge.

Employment is contingent upon successfully meeting all airport security requirements.
