This role supports end-to-end surveillance operations within a fast-paced legal investigations environment.
You will help field investigators prepare for assignments by conducting detailed desktop research and organizing critical case information.
Your work will contribute directly to the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of investigative deliverables provided to legal and corporate clients.
You will review surveillance footage and case materials, identify relevant findings, and transform investigative activity into clear professional reports.
The position requires close collaboration with investigators and internal teams to keep assignments moving efficiently and resolve issues quickly.
You will manage multiple cases while maintaining a high level of confidentiality, organization, and attention to detail.

- Conduct preliminary desktop investigations and detailed case research to prepare comprehensive files for field surveillance investigators.
- Review surveillance video, investigative materials, and case documentation for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and overall quality.
- Prepare clear, concise, professional investigative reports that accurately reflect surveillance activity, observations, and findings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case information throughout the assignment lifecycle.
- Monitor the progression of surveillance assignments, identify missing information or potential issues, and coordinate appropriate follow-up.
- Collaborate closely with field investigators and internal team members to support effective case execution and high-quality deliverables.
- Help ensure surveillance assignments progress according to established timelines and client expectations.
- Manage multiple investigations and competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and consistent work quality.
- Handle sensitive investigative information responsibly and maintain appropriate confidentiality throughout all case activities.
- At least 2 years of directly relevant investigative, surveillance, or surveillance-support experience; alternatively, a bachelor's degree in criminal justice or a related discipline combined with relevant professional experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with attorneys, legal professionals, investigators, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience using investigative case management platforms; experience with TrackOps is strongly preferred.
- Strong investigative research, analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning and using digital tools, case management systems, and investigative technologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies, missing information, and quality issues in case materials.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with investigators and cross-functional teams.
- Strong time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Availability to work during Pacific Time (PST) business hours.
- Hourly compensation of $22–$28 per hour, with placement within the range based on relevant qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
