Job Description

Solution Architect

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solution Architect based in Germany.

As a Solution Architect, you’ll act as the technical bridge between enterprise customers, business needs, and complex SaaS ecosystems. You’ll combine customer-facing presales work with hands-on post-sales architecture and integration delivery. The role gives you the opportunity to design scalable solutions involving APIs, SSO, CRM platforms, iPaaS technologies, and data flows. You’ll work closely with Sales, Program Management, Product, and Engineering teams to turn requirements into successful implementations. Your expertise will directly influence customer outcomes while also shaping future product and integration capabilities. You’ll operate in a dynamic, international environment focused on transforming how life sciences organizations engage with healthcare professionals.

Accountabilities
  • Partner with Sales during presales activities by validating technical feasibility, supporting RFP responses, delivering technical presentations, and positioning platform capabilities with enterprise customers.
  • Lead customer discovery workshops to understand business requirements, technical constraints, integration touchpoints, and compliance considerations, translating them into high-level solution architectures.
  • Build trusted relationships with enterprise stakeholders by clearly communicating the value, feasibility, scalability, and compliance of proposed technical solutions.
  • Design and document detailed enterprise integration architectures, including data flows, REST APIs, SSO, internal connectors, CRM integrations, and iPaaS-based solutions.
  • Work alongside Program Managers to scope and deliver innovative, data-centric integration solutions for enterprise customers.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to bring integration capabilities and features through to completion.
  • Ensure solutions meet both technical and business requirements by coordinating with customers, partners, Program Managers, IT teams, business stakeholders, and compliance teams.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex integration issues, working with Engineering to resolve technical problems within agreed SLAs.
  • Capture lessons learned from customer projects and provide structured feedback to Product teams to support roadmap prioritization and product improvements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution templates, integration standards, testing guidelines, and deployment best practices.
  • Over time, independently own enterprise integration projects from initial scoping through Integration Acceptance Testing and provide first-line API support to customers.
  • Build architecture evolution plans for enterprise customers as their integration landscapes expand and become more sophisticated.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Solution Architect, Presales Engineer, Integration Consultant, or in a comparable technical customer-facing role, preferably within SaaS and commercial or marketing applications.
  • Strong hands-on integration experience with REST APIs, JSON, SSO, ETL, and iPaaS technologies such as MuleSoft or Workato.
  • Experience working with CRM, marketing automation, or other enterprise business applications.
  • Salesforce and/or Veeva integration experience, particularly within life sciences or pharmaceutical environments, is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Salesforce REST APIs, Apex, and SOQL is a plus.
  • Understanding of life sciences or pharmaceutical compliance requirements, including data privacy, consent management, audit trails, and field-force restrictions, is advantageous.
  • Strong ability to translate complex enterprise requirements and compliance constraints into scalable technical architectures and practical integration solutions.
  • Customer-oriented and commercially aware mindset, with the ability to connect technical recommendations to measurable business outcomes.
  • Proven experience presenting, pitching, and negotiating technical solutions with enterprise stakeholders.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to senior decision-makers, C-level stakeholders, enterprise architects, and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience facilitating customer workshops to uncover business objectives, technical requirements, integration challenges, and potential solutions.
  • Ability to tailor technical demonstrations, prototypes, and presentations to different customer personas.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across Sales, Program Management, Product, Engineering, and customer teams.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
Benefits
  • Remote-first position within Europe, offering flexibility in where you work.
  • Opportunity to work on enterprise-scale SaaS integrations with global life sciences organizations.
  • High-impact role combining presales, solution architecture, integration delivery, and strategic customer engagement.
  • Direct exposure to enterprise architects, C-level stakeholders, IT teams, business leaders, and compliance professionals.
  • Strong opportunities to expand expertise across APIs, SSO, CRM integrations, iPaaS, data architecture, and life sciences technology.
  • Opportunity to influence product development through direct feedback from enterprise integration projects.
  • Collaborative international environment spanning Sales, Product, Engineering, Program Management, and customer teams.
  • Career growth through increasing ownership of complex enterprise integrations and architecture strategy.
  • Inclusive workplace committed to equal opportunities regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, parental status, or veteran status.
