Job Description

MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced Project Manager I to support our fast-growing Network Services team within the In-Building Wireless Services unit in our Data Division.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Project Delivery Management: Manage the planning, execution, tracking, and successful completion of multiple Network Services projects, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • T&M Service Management: Coordinate and oversee Time & Materials service engagements from intake through billing completion, ensuring efficient resource utilization and exceptional customer experience.
  • Benchmarking & Recertification Programs: Manage customer network benchmark assessments, recertification projects, reporting requirements, and stakeholder communications.
  • Systems Automation Initiatives: Collaborate with technical teams to define, prioritize, track, and implement automation projects that improve operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and service delivery performance.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for customers throughout project lifecycles, providing regular status updates, managing expectations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Scheduling & Resource Coordination: Coordinate field personnel, engineers, subcontractors, equipment, and other resources required to execute project deliverables successfully.
  • Documentation Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, meeting notes, risk registers, change requests, project reports, and customer-facing documentation.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor project costs, T&M labor tracking, purchase requirements, invoicing milestones, and project profitability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, engineering, field operations, service delivery, and leadership teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively resolve issues that may affect project success.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and refinement of project management processes, tools, and reporting methodologies across the Network Services organization.
  • Systems Maintenance: Maintain accurate project records within CRM, project management, ERP, and reporting systems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Telecommunications, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of project coordination, project management, service delivery, operations, or related experience.
  • Experience within telecommunications, network infrastructure, wireless communications, security systems, or related technology industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to create and maintain project schedules, status reports, and customer communications.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications & Traits:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), CAPM, or other project management certifications.
  • Familiarity with network services, managed services, benchmarking programs, or compliance recertifications.
  • Experience working with CRM, ERP, ticketing, and project management platforms.
  • Knowledge of automation platforms, workflow processes, and operational reporting.
  • Experience managing customer-facing projects and executive-level communications.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and project financial management.

YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This role is primarily facilitated through email and phone calls, with a significant portion of communication occurring remotely. The Project Manager will work in a professional office or remote (work from home) setting with access to necessary resources, technology, and support to effectively carry out their duties.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Travel is generally limited but may be required periodically to support customer meetings, project kickoffs, field activities, training events, and company meetings.
