Position Summary:SUNY Ulster Kingston Center is currently accepting applications for a part-time GED instructor to teach primarily a science class with the possibility of assisting with English, math, and social studies classes. Classes are scheduled in the morning and evening.
Class Schedule:Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursday from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm and/or 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm.

- Prepare weekly class lessons.
- Meet each scheduled class and teach or conduct learning exercises for the entire period.
- Accurately keep required class records.
- Assist lead instructor with classroom assignments in other subject areas.
- Facilitate tutorial sessions as needed.
- Demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm and concern for a student’s academic success.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Teaching Certification.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in the respective subject areas.
- Bilingual is preferred
