Data Services Reports & Insights Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Services Reports & Insights Analyst based in Brazil.

As a Data Services Reports & Insights Analyst, you will help hospitality businesses transform operational and financial data into clear, actionable insights. You will build, analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize reports across a hotel property management and reporting environment. The role combines data analysis, customer enablement, and hands-on problem solving to help users confidently understand their business performance. You will work with metrics such as occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, revenue, and channel performance, translating complex reporting concepts into practical guidance. You will collaborate with Product, Onboarding, Support, and Customer Success teams to improve reporting experiences and resolve data-related challenges. This is a remote-first, international environment where attention to detail, hospitality expertise, analytical thinking, and clear communication are highly valued.

Accountabilities
  • Build, analyze, and optimize operational and financial reports, dashboards, filters, and custom reporting solutions for hospitality customers.

  • Help customers translate raw property data into actionable business insights that support operational and commercial decision-making.

  • Troubleshoot reporting discrepancies and investigate data issues before they become customer-facing problems, applying structured root-cause analysis.

  • Coach and guide customers on interpreting key hospitality performance metrics, including ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, revenue, and channel performance.

  • Respond to customer reporting questions through written communication and video-based coaching, explaining technical concepts in clear and accessible language.

  • Work closely with Product, Onboarding, Support, and Customer Success teams to resolve reporting challenges and improve the overall customer experience.

  • Analyze data mapping, parsing, and reporting logic to identify inconsistencies and determine appropriate solutions.

  • Use advanced spreadsheet capabilities to manipulate, validate, clean, and analyze complex datasets.

  • Contribute customer insights and recurring reporting challenges to ongoing improvements in reporting tools, processes, and product capabilities.

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy when working with historical, financial, operational, and guest-related data.

  • Adapt priorities as customer needs and business requirements evolve within a collaborative, remote-first environment.

Requirements
  • Direct experience working with hotel Property Management Systems, channel managers, hospitality technology, or similar hotel operations platforms.

  • Previous client-facing experience in onboarding, implementation, customer success, or Tier 2/3 technical support, with a demonstrated ability to teach and guide users.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas, data cleaning, and data manipulation.

  • Strong understanding of basic data management concepts, including data mapping, parsing, validation, and root-cause error analysis.

  • Familiarity with BI or reporting environments involving dashboards, filters, custom reports, and financial or operational analytics.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a methodical approach to investigating discrepancies and understanding why data does not align.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when handling sensitive historical, financial, operational, and guest records.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to translate technical reporting concepts into straightforward language for non-technical audiences.

  • Strong adaptability and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage changing customer and business requirements.

  • Comfortable working independently within cloud-based workflows and a distributed, remote-first environment.

  • Strong technical proficiency and access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection suitable for customer video coaching sessions.

  • Professional proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is an advantage.

  • Experience with advanced financial reporting structures or business intelligence and analytics tools is a plus.

  • A genuine interest in hospitality data and the ability to understand how metrics reflect real-world hotel performance and customer behavior.

Benefits
  • Fully remote, remote-first working environment.

  • Paid time off in accordance with applicable local labor requirements.

  • Monthly Wellness Fridays, providing an extra-long weekend each month.

  • Fully paid parental leave.

  • Home office stipend based on country of residency.

  • Access to professional development courses through an internal learning platform.

  • Opportunities for manager training, upskilling, knowledge sharing, and continuous professional development.

  • Opportunity to work with an international, distributed team spanning multiple countries and cultures.

  • Exposure to hospitality technology, reporting, analytics, and AI-powered solutions.

  • A collaborative environment focused on innovation, learning, and improving how hospitality businesses use their data.

  • Opportunity to have a direct impact on how customers understand performance and make data-driven commercial decisions.
