JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

  • Perform validation and performance testing of hydraulic systems and components.
  • Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and test setups.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to verify system performance.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and system-level issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare technical reports, validation documents, and engineering updates.
  • Support product development, design verification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure product quality and reliability.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct hydraulic system and component validation testing.
  • Develop and execute test plans and procedures.
  • Analyze test data and evaluate system performance.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Document test results and prepare technical reports.
  • Support product development and design validation activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and performance standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for products and testing processes.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or related Engineering field.
  • 2+ years of experience in hydraulic systems, validation, testing, or product development.
  • Experience with hydraulic components, test equipment, and data analysis.
  • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical documentation skills.
  • Experience working in laboratory, R&D, or manufacturing environments preferred.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Hydraulic systems and fluid power fundamentals
  • Hydraulic component and system validation testing
  • Test equipment setup, instrumentation, and data acquisition
  • Data analysis and performance evaluation
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Mechanical systems knowledge
  • Technical documentation and report writing
  • Product verification and validation
  • Microsoft Office and engineering software proficiency
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • xperience with hydraulic system design and development
  • Knowledge of test automation, DAQ, and instrumentation systems
  • Familiarity with CAD and engineering analysis tools
  • Experience in R&D, product development, or validation environments
  • Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
