Job Description

The Maintenance SAP Master Scheduler is responsible for the effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of all maintenance activities across site operations. Working closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams, you will ensure preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks are efficiently planned and executed to maximize equipment availability and minimize operational disruption.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly, and look-ahead maintenance schedules in coordination with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and field personnel.
  • Schedule and prioritize maintenance work based on operational requirements, equipment criticality, manpower availability, and execution priorities.
  • Utilize SAP to manage maintenance work orders, scheduling activities, backlog, and work execution status.
  • Coordinate work orders and schedules with Maintenance and Operations to ensure work is properly sequenced and ready for execution.
  • Review work requirements and confirm necessary manpower, materials, equipment, and supporting documentation are available prior to scheduling.
  • Manage and prioritize maintenance backlog to support efficient and timely work execution.
  • Coordinate manpower and craft availability with Maintenance supervision.
  • Monitor schedule compliance, identify delays or constraints, and communicate schedule changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support maintenance KPI reporting, including schedule compliance, backlog, and execution performance.
  • Participate in field walkdowns and work closely with field maintenance personnel to ensure schedules accurately reflect execution requirements.
  • Support turnarounds, outages, and major maintenance scheduling activities as required.

Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience working as a Maintenance Scheduler in SAP is preferred.
    • Experience supporting turnarounds, outages, or major maintenance events.
    • Experience in oil & gas, LNG, pipeline, or petrochemical facilities.
    • Experience with maintenance KPI reporting and schedule compliance analysis.
    • Strong understanding of maintenance scheduling, work prioritization, sequencing, backlog management, and execution processes.
    • Experience coordinating maintenance schedules with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and field personnel.
    • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
