This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality financial reporting within a global financial services environment. You will prepare and review financial statements using data received from various stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable reporting standards. The position involves close collaboration with onshore teams, clients, auditors, and directors to resolve queries and deliver reporting within agreed timelines. You will work in a production-driven environment where attention to detail and deadline management are essential. The role also provides opportunities to support team development through training and quality-focused knowledge sharing. It is well suited to a finance professional with experience in investment fund reporting who enjoys working in a collaborative, internationally connected setting.
- Prepare and review financial statements based on data and information received from relevant stakeholders.
- Manage assigned reporting deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy in a production-driven environment.
- Define and coordinate financial statement timelines with onshore teams.
- Respond to and resolve queries raised by onshore teams, clients, auditors, and directors.
- Support the delivery of consistent, high-quality financial reporting services.
- Train and guide team members to help maintain service quality and reporting standards.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different functions and locations.
- Professional qualification or relevant advanced finance qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), CFA, CMA, or another accounting-focused qualification.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in financial reporting.
- Previous financial reporting experience within mutual funds, private equity, hedge funds, or a related investment environment.
- Practical experience preparing financial reports under IFRS and/or US GAAP is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and deadline-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong adaptability with MS Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
