Job Description
To perform leasing, administrative, and resident-facing activities that support occupancy and day-to-day operations at Peachtree Inn, a Single Room Occupancy (SRO) community. Depending on business needs, staffing, and operational coverage, this position may also provide leasing and administrative support to the sister property, Trolley Court.
The Leasing Consultant is expected to provide professional and responsive service to prospective and current residents while maintaining accurate documentation and following LPM policies, Fair Housing requirements, and established leasing procedures.
Perform all aspects of the leasing process in a professional, timely, and compliant manner, including responding to inquiries, pre-qualifying prospects, showing available units, processing applications, following up with applicants, and coordinating move-ins and move-outs.
Maintain consistent communication with prospective and current residents, providing accurate information regarding availability, application requirements, leasing procedures, and next steps.
Maintain accurate and organized leasing records, including applications, prospect activity, waitlists, occupancy information, move-in/move-out activity, and other required documentation and reporting.
Actively support occupancy goals by following up with leads, maintaining prospect pipelines, conducting tours, assisting with outreach efforts, and helping ensure available units are ready to show and lease.
Provide professional resident service and assist with resident questions and concerns within the scope of the position, escalating matters to the Community Manager when appropriate.
Follow all applicable Fair Housing requirements, LPM policies, leasing procedures, and other compliance requirements. Maintain professionalism, consistency, and confidentiality when working with applicants and residents.
Work closely with the Community Manager, Maintenance team, and other onsite employees to coordinate move-ins, move-outs, unit readiness, resident communication, and other operational needs.
Depending on business needs and coverage, provide leasing and administrative support at Trolley Court, including assisting with prospect follow-up, applications, leasing activity, resident communication, and general office coverage.
Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming leasing office and contribute to a positive environment for residents, prospects, vendors, and team members.
Perform other duties and provide operational support as assigned by the Community Manager, Regional Management, or Corporate Management.
Minimum 3–5 years of leasing and/or property management experience required.
Prior experience in a multifamily, affordable housing, SRO, or similar residential environment strongly preferred.
Strong leasing, customer service, and resident-relations experience.
Ability to work professionally with a diverse resident population and appropriately handle sensitive or challenging interactions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentation in a fast-paced property environment.
Comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with the onsite and Corporate teams.
Proficiency with standard computer-based administrative functions and property management systems.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Successful completion of required background and drug screenings.
Experience working in SRO communities.
Experience with property management software such as RealPage/OneSite, Yardi, or similar systems.
Knowledge of Fair Housing requirements and residential leasing practices.
Bilingual skills preferred.
Schedule: Full-time, non-exempt position. Eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable laws and LPM policies. Schedule may vary based on business and property coverage needs.
Physical Requirements: Primarily administrative and resident-facing work involving periods of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the property. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Travel & Property Coverage: Peachtree Inn will serve as the employee’s primary work location. Depending on business needs and staffing coverage, the employee may be required to work at or provide support to Trolley Court. Additional travel may occasionally be required for trainings, meetings, certifications, or operational support within LPM’s portfolio.
$20 - $22 an hour
