Reports To: Operations Manager
Position Type: Full-time, On-Site
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5 PM (includes 30 minute paid lunch)
Salary Range: $58,000 - $68,000
*Salary will be commensurate with educational attainment, experience, technical skills, and accomplishments

Delta V Management currently provides day-to-day management and operational support to ReliaRide Medical Transportation, a family-oriented nonprofit organization founded in 2007. ReliaRide specializes in providing non-emergency transportation services to elderly individuals, individuals with disabilities, and others needing transportation to medical, non-medical, and other essential appointments.
This role will support Delta V Management, ReliaRide, and other affiliated businesses and entities as applicable. As The Heart Brands and Delta V Management grow, the scope of this position may expand to support additional businesses and organizations, creating opportunities for continued professional growth and expanded responsibility.
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated, dependable Billing Manager who enjoys the day-to-day details of keeping billing operations accurate, organized, and moving forward. This position will primarily support the billing and accounts receivable operations of ReliaRide Medical Transportation, with the opportunity to support Delta V Management and other affiliated businesses and entities as the role grows. The ideal candidate takes pride in accuracy, follow-through, problem-solving, and seeing tasks through to completion. This role will focus on timely and accurate billing, accounts receivable management, payment posting and reconciliation, claim and invoice follow-up, collections, reporting, and maintaining accurate financial documentation. The Billing Manager will work alongside internal teams to help keep billing processes accurate, timely, and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
- General Ledger Maintenance: Accurately record all transactions in the general ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and internal policies.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other balance sheet accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Transaction Processing: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments and collections. Analyze cash flow and process accounts payable responsibly to ensure financial stability during times of limited financial capital (i.e., times of growth and expenditure).
- Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with the creation and tracking of budgets, providing regular updates and reports to the management team.
- Regulation & Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to non-profit financial regulations and relevant compliance requirements.
- A/P and A/R Management: Manage the accounts payable and receivable cycles, including ensuring timely processing and addressing any discrepancies. Manage A/R reporting ensuring that overdue invoices do not exceed 90 days. Own the communication process with vendors who have overdue invoices; create action plans to ensure overdue invoices close promptly.
- Processing Invoices and Spreadsheets: Entering and maintaining accurate data in spreadsheets and managing invoice processing.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Required: Bachelors degree in accounting from an accredited university.
- Required Experience & Technical Skills:
- Nonprofit experience (required).
- Minimum of 1 year experience of managing billing (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience using QuickBooks Online (required).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Preferred Experience & Technical Skills (in addition to above):
- Strong familiarity with financial accounting and reporting standards.
- 1-2 years of experience in non-profit accounting and audit support
- Strong spreadsheet skills, including the ability to work with formulas and data analysis.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, non-profit financial regulations, and audit processes.
- Audit experience preferred
