Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant supervisory experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
What you’ll experience
- Lead engineering strategy, tools, and processes for a technical domain.
- Guide complex projects from planning through delivery, balancing cost, schedule, quality, and customer needs.
- Partner with project teams, customers, suppliers, and leadership to solve problems and manage risks.
- Build and develop a high-performing team through hiring, coaching, performance management, and training.
- Drive continuous improvement, including opportunities to use AI to improve engineering processes and outcomes.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams, technical programs, or a complex functional area.
- Strong understanding of project leadership, budgets, schedules, risk management, and earned value principles.
- Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to connect technical and business stakeholders.
- A collaborative, creative approach to solving complex problems and delivering results.
- Ability to manage priorities, set clear goals, delegate effectively, and meet commitments.
- Deep technical expertise and a reputation as a trusted leader in your field.
- Experience shaping technical strategies, supporting proposals, and developing practical project plans.
- A track record of improving processes, tools, and team performance.
- Strong people leadership skills, including attracting, developing, and retaining talent.
- Ability to identify and apply AI-driven ideas that create meaningful improvements and innovation.

Combined Salary Range
USD $156,444.00 - USD $173,555.00 /Yr.
