General Labor - Level I in Bay City, Michigan at Bay Cast Technologies LLC

Bay Cast Technologies, LLC is seeking a reliable, motivated General Laborer to support daily production operations. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying busy, and being part of a team that values craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency.

2nd Shift: 4:30pm - 2:45am

Key Responsibilities

• General Housekeeping: Sweep floors, clean machines, and maintain a tidy and organized workspace
• Deburr Parts: Assist machinists by removing sharp edges and finishing machined components
• Prep Baseplates: Clean, handle, and prepare baseplates for machining or shipment
• Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to move materials, parts, and scrap (training provided if needed)
• Clean-Up & Organization: Support shop organization efforts, including material sorting and tool placement
• Safety: Follow all shop safety procedures, use proper PPE, and help maintain a safe working environment

• Prior shop or manufacturing experience preferred
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Forklift experience is a plus (training available)
