Senior Analyst – Government Purchase Card Program
NextStep Technology, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and resourceful Senior Analyst to support our government client’s Purchase Card Program. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical, multitasking, and customer-service skills.
The selected candidate will work at the government client site and gain exposure to multiple federal infrastructure initiatives and activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide daily support to the Purchase Card Program Manager, including responding to telephone inquiries and generating reports as needed.
- Monitor the purchase card system to ensure the agency’s purchase card hierarchy is accurate, current, and compliant with system requirements.
- Perform audits and reviews of cardholder transactions and activities.
- Monitor the agency’s purchase card hierarchy and recommend additions, deletions, and corrections to the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR).
- Conduct card-by-card analyses to verify that cardholders have the appropriate controls and authorizations.
- Assist cardholders by serving as a point of contact for purchase card questions, concerns, and system issues.
- Maintain accurate records and files to support efficient program operations.
- Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
- At least 10 years of professional analyst experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to think creatively when resolving problems.
- Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to learn new software programs and systems quickly.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities effectively.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous experience working within a federal government agency.
- Experience in contracts or procurement.
- Experience supporting a Government Purchase Card Program.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Relevant professional experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
- Four years of relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Two years of relevant experience may be substituted for an associate degree.
- Candidates without a degree must have at least 14 years of relevant professional experience.
