Position: Campus Teacher

Currently, we have a need for certified teachers for the 2026-2027 school year to guide learning in multiage classrooms on our beautiful learner-centered campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
This role requires a teacher with an engaging and interactive style to deliver Clonlara’s highly personalized Full Circle Learning Model, and to enthusiastically participate in activities to grow enrollment and foster community in our school. This position includes a co‑teaching model, working alongside another educator to support student learning.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Delivering Clonlara’s Full Circle Learning Model thoroughly and consistently in a multiage classroom setting.
-Working closely with each student’s parents, educational advisor, and the Campus Leader to provide a personalized learning experience.
-Developing an innovative curriculum tailored to the individual educational needs of each student.
-Building meaningful, caring relationships with students.
-Selecting and using effective instructional methods and learning materials.
-Providing supportive communication to students and their parents.
-Assessing and evaluating student progress and growth.
-Fostering self-esteem, motivation, and a sense of responsibility in students.
-Documenting learning for each student and keeping their records current, complete, and confidential.
-Representing Clonlara through outreach and recruitment activities, such as information sessions, and open houses.

Background and Skills
-Have a bachelor’s degree in education, with current elementary or secondary teaching certification.
-Value teamwork and consensus building.
-Understand student autonomy, empowerment, and engagement.
-Have strong cross-cultural understanding and the ability to communicate with diverse populations.
-Are collaborative, non-judgmental in their approach to individual circumstances, preferences, and choices.
-Are familiar with progressive education movements (e.g., “free,” alternative, and democratic schools) and educational philosophies such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf.
-Can differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students at different ages and abilities.
-Have experience leading project-based learning classrooms and/or activities.
-Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
-Demonstrates openness to coaching, readily accepts direction, and collaborates effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
-Understand the function and use of educational apps and have strong proficiency in the use of Office 365 tools (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
-Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
-Sensitivity, respect, and a consistently positive attitude toward working with students and families.
-Ability to organize own work, coordinate projects, set priorities, meet deadlines, and follow up on assignments with a minimum of direction.
