Senior Network Engineer in United States at Jobgether

This role is focused on managing and evolving global enterprise network infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance at scale. You will provide senior-level expertise in network architecture, supporting both on-premise systems and cloud networking across Azure and AWS platforms. The position involves working on complex, distributed network ecosystems with a strong emphasis on security frameworks such as zero-trust, network detection, and traffic protection. You will play a key role in optimizing global connectivity, ensuring reliable application performance across regions, and integrating cloud and on-premise environments. This is a high-responsibility engineering role that requires hands-on technical depth, operational excellence, and the ability to respond to critical incidents in global environments. The role also includes working in a structured shift model with on-call responsibilities to support global operations.

• Manage and support global enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and enterprise WiFi systems
• Oversee hybrid cloud networking across Azure and AWS, ensuring seamless integration with on-premise environments
• Administer and optimize Zscaler and other network security solutions for secure global connectivity
• Monitor network performance, latency, traffic flows, and application behavior across global regions
• Design and implement next-generation network architectures aligned with zero-trust and security best practices
• Manage network security tools including intrusion detection/prevention systems and vulnerability monitoring solutions
• Support Azure networking components such as VNets, subnets, application gateways, and Azure Front Door
• Ensure secure and optimized VOIP and telecom infrastructure including SIP trunking and Microsoft Teams integration
• Troubleshoot complex networking issues and optimize performance in high-latency environments
• Maintain enterprise WiFi operations and ensure consistent global wireless connectivity

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering with global infrastructure exposure
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud networking technologies
• Strong experience managing enterprise WiFi operations in large-scale environments
• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with SonicWall or Netgear networking solutions
• Strong understanding of routing, switching (VLANs), firewalls, and network traffic management
• Experience with Zscaler or similar secure access service edge (SASE) solutions
• Solid knowledge of Azure networking services including VNets, subnets, and security configurations
• Experience with network security practices including vulnerability management and penetration testing
• Working knowledge of VOIP technologies including SIP trunking and Microsoft Teams integration
• Ability to optimize application performance across global and high-latency environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to handle complex distributed network issues
• Experience in hybrid cloud (Azure/AWS) networking environments and zero-trust security models
