This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure engineering, delivery execution, and customer-facing technical leadership, ensuring complex enterprise software is successfully deployed and operated in real-world environments.
You will be responsible for shaping how production-grade systems are installed, maintained, and supported across multiple customer engagements.
The position requires strong technical depth combined with leadership ability to build scalable delivery models and guide a growing engineering team.
You will work closely with platform, delivery, sales, and support functions to ensure deployments are reliable, repeatable, and aligned with customer needs.
The environment is highly collaborative and operates in complex, high-stakes contexts involving legacy systems and modernization initiatives.
Success in this role means moving from hands-on infrastructure work to building a durable, scalable operational capability.
This is a high-impact leadership position where technical decisions directly influence customer outcomes and platform evolution.
- Own the end-to-end infrastructure delivery lifecycle, including deployment architecture, installation workflows, environment setup, upgrades, hardening, and ongoing production support across customer environments.
- Define and maintain scalable infrastructure standards, reference architectures, runbooks, and operational playbooks to ensure consistent and reliable deployments.
- Lead and grow a high-performing infrastructure engineering team, providing coaching, mentorship, hiring support, and fostering a strong culture of ownership and accountability.
- Partner closely with platform engineering teams to influence roadmap and architecture decisions based on real-world deployment complexity and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with sales and delivery teams during pre-sales and early engagement phases to define infrastructure scope, readiness criteria, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Enable system integrators and delivery partners through documentation, onboarding frameworks, and hands-on support to ensure effective use of the platform.
- Establish processes, metrics, and operational models that transform infrastructure delivery and support from reactive execution into a scalable, repeatable system.
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, including at least 3+ years in an engineering management or technical leadership role.
- Proven experience deploying and operating enterprise software in complex, distributed, regulated, or multi-tenant cloud environments.
- Strong ability to design and scale infrastructure delivery models, including reference architectures, deployment pipelines, and operational support frameworks.
- Experience collaborating with sales and delivery teams in pre-sales or technical scoping activities, including defining environment requirements and readiness criteria.
- Track record of enabling external partners or system integrators through structured documentation, training, or direct technical engagement.
- Demonstrated success in building, developing, and retaining high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively across engineering, product, delivery, and executive stakeholders.
- Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments while driving clarity, structure, and execution discipline.
- Experience with large-scale modernization programs or legacy system transformation is highly valued.
- Competitive salary aligned with leadership-level engineering roles
- Opportunity to lead and scale a high-impact infrastructure engineering function
- Work on mission-critical enterprise modernization programs with real-world impact
- Fully remote or flexible work arrangements (depending on team and engagement needs)
- Direct exposure to executive stakeholders and strategic customer initiatives
- Opportunity to shape infrastructure strategy, standards, and operating models
- Inclusive and equal opportunity workplace culture focused on fairness and respect
- Chance to build and mentor a growing engineering team in a high-growth environment
