Document Control Specialist in Southwick, Massachusetts at Kinetic Engine Systems

Job Position Summary: You are responsible for timely and accurate document revision controls of Product specifications, Policies and Procedures, Standard Work Instructions to ensure compliance with Kinetic Massachusetts Operations management systems and latest industry standard.

You must have:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in maintaining a document control system or an equivalent system.
• Experience in the Aerospace Manufacturing industry to include Aerospace standards and specifications.
• The ability to read engineering drawings/documents as well as understand revision/configuration control.
• The ability to read and balloon engineering drawings to assist First Article Inspectors with First Article package preparations.
• Proficient Computer Skills to include Microsoft Office.
• The ability to multitask and pivot from one task to another.
• The ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given.

In your role you will:

Working Conditions:

• Normal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and sharp machine parts; breathing fumes, dust, and mist; skin exposure to oil and cutting fluid; exposure to sharp metal edges, and forklifts.
• May be asked to travel back and forth between Southwick and Westfield facilities.
