About the Position
The QA Tester is responsible for ensuring products meet established quality standards through inspection, testing, documentation, and validation of manufacturing outputs. This role works closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to identify defects, verify compliance with specifications, and support continuous improvement efforts.
What You'll Do:
- Perform inspections and tests on products at various stages of the manufacturing process
- Document and report defects, inconsistencies, and non-conformance issues
- Verify products meet quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and testing documentation
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
- Assist in developing and improving quality control procedures and test methods
- Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Support audits and compliance activities as needed
What You Bring:
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred (Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field)
- Previous experience in quality assurance, inspection, or manufacturing preferred
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to follow standardized testing procedures and documentation requirements
- Basic understanding of quality systems and manufacturing processes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data tracking tools
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
Physical Demands, Work Environment & Schedule:
- Ability to move throughout manufacturing and office environments
- Frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
- Exposure to manufacturing equipment, noise, and varying temperatures
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in production areas
- Full-time position with occasional overtime based on business needs
