The Senior Oracle Developer will design, develop, and maintain advanced database and data engineering solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technology outcomes. This role will focus on database performance, data integration, automation, and continuous improvement of enterprise data workflows.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Oracle database solutions, stored procedures, and optimized SQL queries.
• Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting to resolve complex technical issues.
• Design, build, and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines for production environments.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and manage data from multiple sources.
• Automate data workflows, including ingestion, aggregation, and processing activities.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, privacy, security, and compliance through quality control practices.
• Manage versioned data pipelines and support change management processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve data architecture and system performance.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to junior engineers.
• Support the implementation of modern data platforms, including cloud-based data lake and warehouse solutions.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Oracle and data engineering professional with strong technical expertise, analytical capabilities, and the ability to solve complex problems in a collaborative environment.

• Advanced expertise in Oracle Database, stored procedures, SQL optimization, and data analysis.
• Strong experience with Oracle SQL, relational databases, and database design principles.
• Proven experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Hands-on experience developing ETL/ELT processes and managing data pipelines.
• Strong programming skills in Python, including experience with Pandas, NumPy, and data-related libraries.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, data lakes, and data warehouse solutions.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or AWS QuickSight.
• Knowledge of cloud data engineering services across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is an asset.
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EMR, Glue ETL, Athena, RDS, Redshift, EC2, and IAM is an asset.
• Experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, ADLS Gen2, or Azure SQL Database is an asset.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Hive, or MapReduce is a plus.
