As a University Guidance Counsellor at Enko La Gaieté, you will support students in identifying and achieving their higher education ambitions by helping them gain admission to leading universities around the world. At the same time, you will build innovative partnerships that contribute to the success of our educational mission.

Holding a Master's degree (or equivalent), you are passionate about education and recognized for your proactivity, ability to take initiative, and capacity to work independently. You are results-oriented, demonstrate strong leadership, and have the ability to build and maintain meaningful partnerships. Comfortable using digital and creative tools (such as Canva and project management platforms), you know how to leverage technology to enhance the student experience. You also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and are able to engage professionally and empathetically with students, parents, and partners. You are fluent in French and able to work in English. Ideally, you have experience in academic guidance, the education sector, or the non-profit sector.

• Suppport students

Design and deliver a personalized university guidance programme that helps students explore international higher education opportunities and develop realistic academic and career plans.

• Build partnerships

Develop and maintain partnerships with local and international universities and organisations to create admission and scholarship opportunities for students.

• Organise university guidance events

Design and coordinate engaging initiatives such as university fairs, webinars, and open days to inspire students to pursue higher education.

• Build a strong community

Engage parents and alumni in celebrating students' achievements while increasing the visibility of our university guidance programme within the wider community.

This position reports directly to the Campus Director of Enko La Gaieté and functionally to the Group University Guidance Manager.

As a member of Enko Education's network of University Guidance Counsellors, spread across several African countries, you will collaborate closely with your peers throughout the group.

You will also be an active member of the local school team, working closely with academic and administrative colleagues to ensure an enriching and inspiring experience for every student.

Complete an online case study designed to assess your ability to address the challenges you would encounter as a University Guidance Counsellor within our school.

3. Technical Interview
Meet with the Group University Guidance Manager to discuss your technical expertise, your approach to the role, and the expectations associated with it. This interview may be conducted in English.

4. Career Interview
Meet with the leadership team at Enko La Gaieté for an in-depth discussion (approximately two hours) about your previous professional experience and career journey.

5. Reference Checks
If you reach this stage, we will ask you to provide professional references so that we can speak with your previous managers.
