The role of the Field Service Technician will be to support our printer and copier customer base.
Major Goals and Responsibilities:
The Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and support of wide format graphics equipment, office copiers and multifunction devices, and point-of-use water filtration and coffee systems. This position delivers exceptional customer service while ensuring equipment reliability, maximizing up time, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical, electrical, and network troubleshooting skills and is capable of independently managing service territory while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Wide Format Graphics Equipment
- Install, configure, maintain, and repair wide format printers, cutters, laminators, and finishing equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, print quality, software, and connectivity issues.
- Calibrate and optimize equipment for color accuracy and production quality.
- Train customers in equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and best practices.
- Support workflow software, RIP software, and network connectivity when applicable.
Copier and Multifunction Equipment
- Install and service copiers, multifunction printers (MFPs), production print devices, and related finishing equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, firmware, and network-related issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
- Replace parts, assemblies, and consumables as required.
- Configure print, scan, and device management settings for customer environments.
- Document service activity and maintain accurate service records.
Point-of-Use Water and Coffee Systems
- Install and service water filtration systems, bottle less water coolers, ice makers, and commercial coffee equipment.
- Replace filters, sanitation components, and consumable items.
- Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, dispensing, and control system issues.
- Maintain equipment sanitation and compliance with applicable health and safety standards.
- Educate customers on proper equipment operation and care.

Qualification and Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Background in electronics and/or mechanical devices is helpful
- Vocational Technical education is helpful
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Compensation: Starting at $19.00 per hour with no prior experience.
Position comes with a company car, gas card, laptop, and cell phone. Travel time is paid as full, normal, hours. There are both quarterly and monthly bonus opportunities as well.
