Job Summary
The Director of Recruiting leads the organization's talent acquisition strategy and recruitment operations. This role is responsible for developing and executing recruiting initiatives that attract, hire, and retain high-quality talent while supporting organizational growth and workforce planning objectives. The Director of Recruiting partners closely with senior leadership, department leaders, and Team Member Resources to ensure the company maintains a strong pipeline of qualified candidates and delivers an exceptional candidate experience.
This position will be based in our Fort Worth, TX office with the possibility of hybrid hours.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Strategy
- Develop and implement company-wide recruiting strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead workforce planning initiatives in partnership with executive leadership.
- Analyze labor market trends and recommend innovative recruitment solutions.
- Create and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Establish and monitor recruiting metrics and performance indicators.
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop recruiters.
- Establish recruiting goals and accountability standards for the recruiting team.
- Develop training programs and best practices for recruiting staff.
- Foster a high-performance, service-oriented recruiting culture.
Recruitment Operations
- Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process for all positions across the organization.
- Ensure consistency and compliance in hiring practices and selection procedures.
- Optimize applicant tracking systems, recruiting technologies, and hiring workflows.
- Monitor recruiting budgets and vendor relationships.
- Implement process improvements to increase hiring efficiency and effectiveness.
Employer Branding and Candidate Experience
- Develop and promote the organization's employment brand.
- Oversee recruitment marketing initiatives, career site content, and social media recruiting efforts.
- Ensure a positive, professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Build relationships with colleges, community organizations, and professional associations.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain affirmative action, equal employment opportunity, and diversity recruiting initiatives.
- Prepare and present recruiting reports and workforce analytics to executive leadership.
- Monitor recruiting effectiveness through key performance indicators including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and retention.
- Complete all other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field required.
- 7-10 years of progressive talent acquisition experience.
- 3-5 years of leadership experience managing recruiting teams.
- Two years of experience recruiting professionals in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) services industry preferred.
- Experience developing and executing strategic recruiting initiatives.
- Experience supporting high-volume recruiting environments.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of recruitment strategies, workforce planning, and talent management.
- Knowledge of employment laws and hiring compliance requirements.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to analyze recruiting data and develop actionable recommendations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to communicate with other people in-person, by telephone, and in writing
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
