Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health in Pensacola, Florida at Professional Performance Development Group

Location: NHP Pensacola
Schedule: Monday through Friday, excluding observed federal holidays. Work an 8.5- or 9-hour shift between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., including a 30-minute or 1-hour meal break.

• Associate Degree in Nursing from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience after graduation
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications

• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Perform physical examinations and obtain patient health histories
• Administer medications, provide wound care, and perform nursing interventions
• Provide patient education, counseling, and health promotion
• Recognize and respond to emergencies and adverse symptoms
• Supervise patient care and assign duties based on staff scope of practice and skill level
• Coordinate referrals, specialty care, telemedicine, and tele-consult services
• Follow all applicable MTF policies, procedures, and standards of care
