Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Platform (Lead) Consultant based in United States.
This is a hands-on platform consulting role supporting critical healthcare technology platforms and modernization initiatives. You will work across platform engineering, solution design, integrations, and delivery execution rather than operating solely in an advisory capacity. The role contributes to Azure cloud migration, platform modernization, secure integrations, and operational stability across complex technology ecosystems. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Platform, Security, Infrastructure, and external vendors to turn business needs into practical technical solutions. The position also plays an important role in DevOps readiness, data migration, compliance, and cutover activities involving sensitive healthcare information. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact in a highly cross-functional, regulated technology environment.
- Platform Solution Design: Support platform solution design and integration strategies, translating business requirements into practical, implementable technical solutions in partnership with engineering teams.
- API & Integration Delivery: Perform hands-on API validation and testing using tools such as Postman, while supporting increasingly complex integrations and third-party technology ecosystems.
- Azure Modernization: Assist with Azure cloud migration planning, platform modernization, environment readiness, and cutover execution to support reliable delivery.
- DevOps Readiness: Coordinate technical readiness across repositories, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and environments to help ensure smooth releases and transitions.
- Data Migration & Compliance: Support data migration planning and validation, with particular attention to PHI/PII handling and requirements associated with regulated environments such as HITRUST.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Identify and communicate risks, blockers, and dependencies across environments, security requirements, integrations, and delivery activities.
- Technical Collaboration & Documentation: Work directly with engineers to debug, validate, and iterate on solutions while producing clear technical documentation, decision logs, risk assessments, and stakeholder updates.
- Professional Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in technology, platform consulting, engineering, solution delivery, or a closely related field.
- API & Integration Expertise: Strong hands-on experience working with APIs, integrations, validation, and troubleshooting in production-oriented technology environments.
- Cloud Experience: Practical experience with Azure or comparable cloud platforms, including cloud migration, modernization, and environment readiness activities.
- DevOps Knowledge: Working knowledge of repositories, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and modern DevOps practices, with the ability to contribute directly to delivery execution.
- Hands-On Delivery Mindset: Ability to operate within platform delivery streams and execute solutions directly rather than functioning solely as an architect or advisor.
- Technical Skills: Experience or exposure to .NET, C#, SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, and infrastructure-as-code tools is valuable.
- Integration & Migration Tools: Experience with Postman, cloud or data migration, cutover activities, and complex vendor or platform integrations is preferred.
- Modern Architecture: Exposure to microservices, event-driven architectures, and emerging technologies such as Azure AI or OpenAI integrations is a plus.
- Regulated Environments: Experience working with HIPAA, PHI/PII, HITRUST, or other highly regulated data and technology environments is strongly valued.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers, business stakeholders, security teams, infrastructure teams, Product, and vendors.
- Documentation & Problem Solving: Ability to clearly document technical risks, decisions, dependencies, and solutions while working collaboratively to resolve complex delivery challenges.
- Salary: Base salary of $130,000–$150,000 annually for this specific position, based on experience and qualifications.
- Remote Work: Fully remote position based in the United States.
- Technology Setup: Comprehensive home-office technology setup, including a laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard, and mouse.
- Connectivity Support: Monthly reimbursement is provided to help offset internet costs for eligible remote employees.
- Home Office Requirements: Employees working remotely must maintain a dedicated, private workspace and reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
- Employment Screening: Candidates selected for the position will be required to complete a background investigation.
- Work Authorization: Employment-based visa sponsorship is generally not provided for this position.
