Remedy Road LLC is looking for energetic, compassionate, dependable, and creative Direct Learning Coaches to join our Day Services team.
This is not your typical direct-care position. Our Day Center is a family-oriented, high-energy, team-focused environment where staff help individuals with developmental disabilities learn new skills, build friendships, participate in their community, and become more independent—all while having fun!
As a Direct Learning Coach, you will work hands-on with individuals throughout the day, turning everyday activities into opportunities for learning, growth, independence, and achievement.
We are looking for people who bring positive energy, patience, creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm to work every day.
Your Schedule:
Monday–Friday
9:00 AM–3:00 PM
No late evenings! This position is ideal for someone looking for consistent weekday daytime hours in an exciting and rewarding environment.
What You'll Do
As a Direct Learning Coach, you will:
•Provide direct support and supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities.
•Coach individuals in developing independent living, social, communication, and community skills.
•Lead and participate in fun, meaningful, and educational activities.
•Help individuals work toward their Individual Support Plan (ISP) goals.
•Encourage individuals to make choices, advocate for themselves, and become increasingly independent.
•Support community outings, recreation, shopping, volunteering, fitness, and other activities.
•Assist with life-skills activities such as cooking, money management, personal organization, and household skills.
•Provide assistance with activities of daily living and personal-care needs when required.
•Implement positive behavioral supports and approved safety strategies.
•Complete ISP data, T-Logs, MARs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
•Monitor and report changes involving an individual's health, behavior, safety, or well-being.
Promote individual rights, dignity, privacy, choice, and person-centered services.
•Provide transportation for approved community activities when assigned.
•Communicate professionally with individuals, families, guardians, coworkers, supervisors, and other members of the individual's team.
•Work collaboratively with your teammates to create an engaging and successful day for everyone.

•Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
•Be willing to participate actively in activities and community outings.
•Be capable of following ISPs, Safety Plans, behavioral strategies, and agency procedures.
•Be comfortable completing electronic documentation.
•Successfully complete required background and registry checks.
•Have a valid driver's license and meet agency driving requirements when transportation is assigned.
