Job Description

Director, Revenue Operations & Systems

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Revenue Operations & Systems based in the United States.

This is a senior, hands-on operations leadership role at the intersection of Revenue Operations, Deal Operations, and go-to-market technology.
You will translate commercial strategy into scalable processes, governance, systems, and workflows that help revenue teams execute efficiently.
The role oversees the full order-to-contract lifecycle, including pricing, quoting, deal desk, renewals, and period-end processes.
You will also guide the evolution and governance of a critical GTM technology ecosystem, with a strong focus on Salesforce, automation, and AI-assisted workflows.
As a key connector between Finance, Sales leadership, Operations, and Systems, you will drive alignment and create reliable handoffs across the revenue organization.
The position combines people leadership, strategic planning, operational problem-solving, and technology optimization in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
It is ideal for an entrepreneurial leader who enjoys building scalable infrastructure, developing teams, and using technology to create measurable business impact.

Accountabilities
  • GTM Strategy Execution: Partner with Sales leadership and executive stakeholders to translate go-to-market strategy and insights into field-ready processes, system requirements, governance frameworks, and clearly documented policies.
  • Cross-functional alignment: Act as the connective layer between Finance, Sales, Deal Operations, GTM Systems, and Enablement, ensuring effective handoffs, shared priorities, and rapid resolution of operational issues.
  • Revenue Operations Planning: Own the RevOps request and ticketing process, establish operating rhythms, and design governance mechanisms that enable Deal Operations and GTM Systems to operate efficiently.
  • Technology governance: Oversee user access and AI credit utilization across the GTM technology stack, conduct regular access audits, monitor technology spend, evaluate new tools, and direct integrations.
  • Deal Operations leadership: Lead the team responsible for pricing operations, quoting, deal desk, approvals, renewals, and the broader order-to-contract lifecycle.
  • Finance partnership: Own the operational handoff from executed contracts to Finance, escalating deal structures or contract terms that could affect billing, collections, or cash flow.
  • Period-end execution: Lead close-of-period activities, validate booking accuracy, and partner with Finance on reconciliation and resolution of deal-related issues.
  • Automation and AI: Identify and implement opportunities to automate order-to-cash and GTM workflows, reducing manual effort, improving cycle times, and increasing operational leverage.
  • Systems oversight: Direct the Systems team in managing and evolving the GTM technology ecosystem, ensuring platforms are integrated, healthy, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Continuous improvement: Ensure recurring system issues are addressed at their source through process improvements or configuration changes, while supporting field teams with timely operational solutions.
  • People leadership: Develop and coach high-performing teams, foster accountability and ownership, and ensure contractors and external partners deliver against quality and budget expectations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8–12 years of experience in Revenue Operations, GTM Operations, or a closely related discipline, with a demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into practical operational processes.
  • Leadership: Proven experience managing and developing teams, setting clear expectations, driving performance, and creating a collaborative, accountable operating culture.
  • SaaS expertise: Experience working in a high-growth SaaS or private-equity-backed environment, ideally within a complex and rapidly evolving commercial organization.
  • Salesforce expertise: Strong knowledge of Salesforce, including the ability to evaluate architecture and configuration decisions, identify optimization opportunities, and translate business requirements into actionable system specifications.
  • Deal Operations: Strong understanding of quoting, CPQ, deal desk processes, approval workflows, pricing operations, renewals, and order-to-contract mechanics.
  • Strategic partnership: Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with Sales and GTM leaders, Finance, technical teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • AI and automation: An AI-curious, technology-forward mindset with a strong understanding of how automation and AI can improve GTM productivity and help build a more scalable Revenue Operations function.
  • Problem-solving: Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, identifying root causes, balancing competing priorities, and developing practical solutions.
  • Execution: Highly organized and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, governance requirements, systems priorities, and operational deadlines simultaneously.
Benefits
  • Competitive benefits package designed to support employees’ health, wellbeing, and financial security.
  • Fully remote opportunity within the United States.
  • High-performance, accountability-driven culture with significant ownership and autonomy.
  • Opportunity to lead and develop teams while shaping critical Revenue Operations infrastructure.
  • Technology-forward environment with meaningful opportunities to apply AI and automation.
  • Strong focus on professional growth, continuous learning, innovation, and career development.
  • Collaborative and results-oriented environment that values purposeful teamwork and independent ownership.
  • Opportunity to make a measurable impact on GTM efficiency, revenue operations, and business growth.
  • Inclusive workplace committed to diversity and equal employment opportunity.
