This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing based in the United States.

This leadership role offers the opportunity to own and scale the sales and marketing strategy for a rapidly growing organization.

Accountabilities:

The Director of Sales & Marketing will lead the development and execution of strategies that accelerate customer acquisition, strengthen market presence, and support sustainable revenue growth. This role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader who can build effective sales and marketing systems, guide teams, and continuously optimize performance through data-driven decisions.

  • Own the long-term vision, strategy, and execution roadmap for sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Lead and develop sales and marketing teams by establishing clear processes, providing coaching, supporting professional growth, and fostering accountability.
  • Build and optimize demand generation strategies to increase qualified leads, improve pipeline performance, and support revenue targets.
  • Develop and refine messaging, positioning, and customer-facing communications to strengthen brand awareness and market differentiation.
  • Manage sales pipeline development and implement strategies that enable teams to consistently achieve growth goals.
  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives, campaigns, and performance optimization efforts across relevant channels.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve collaboration, processes, technology adoption, and resource allocation.
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring investments are aligned with growth objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Establish reporting frameworks and performance metrics to evaluate sales and marketing effectiveness.
  • Promote a culture of experimentation, continuous improvement, and disciplined execution across all growth initiatives.
  • Represent the customer perspective internally by understanding audience needs and ensuring strategies deliver meaningful experiences.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced sales and marketing leader with a strong track record of building growth strategies, managing teams, and delivering measurable revenue results. They should combine strategic thinking with the ability to execute independently in a dynamic, remote environment.

  • 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles within an in-house or agency environment.
  • Proven experience leading or managing sales and marketing teams and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong background in pipeline development, demand generation, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Demonstrated success implementing sales and marketing initiatives that achieve measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience managing CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar systems.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, customer acquisition, and performance optimization.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to evaluate and improve marketing and sales performance.
  • Experience managing budgets, allocating resources, and optimizing marketing investments.
  • Ability to develop compelling messaging, positioning strategies, and customer-focused campaigns.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across an organization.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a growing, evolving environment.
  • Comfortable taking ownership, solving complex problems, and creating scalable processes.
  • Experience with productized services, professional services, SaaS, or similar business models is preferred.
