Job Description
At Neighbor, we're building the largest hyperlocal marketplace the world has ever seen. We've raised over $75 million from top-tier investors such as Andreessen Horowitz and the CEOs of DoorDash, StockX, and Uber. Our marketplace is already flourishing in all 50 states and we're just getting started!
About the Role
This is a zero-to-one opportunity to build Neighbor's host acquisition engine from the ground up. As our SMB Acquisition Specialist, you'll own the full lifecycle of sourcing and onboarding high-potential residential and SMB hosts, the people whose listings drive the strongest performance on our platform. You'll design a high-volume outreach motion from scratch, recruit and manage a team of 3-4 part-time interns to run it at scale, and connect the dots between our Data, Local Growth, and Host Activation teams.
You'll treat host acquisition like a machine that gets better over time. You'll track what works, double down on the hosts who deliver, and keep tightening your targeting and outreach until local growth compounds. If you want a role where you build the system, not just run someone else's, this is it.
Responsibilities- Partner with Data and Analytics to model high-potential host profiles and prioritize the ones worth your time.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Comfort picking up the phone or knocking on doors to get people to act, with a track record of driving results through direct outreach.
- Experience leading people or projects, including setting direction and keeping a team accountable.
- Strong communication skills: you can pitch a prospect and turn data into a clear plan for cross-functional partners.
