Description:
The Field Service Project Manager I oversees and coordinates field service projects from initiation to completion. The Field Service Project Manager I, is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects while ensuring they align with company objectives, timelines, and budgets. The candidate requires strong managerial skills, communication, and problem-solving to manage service teams, liaise with clients, and maintain project efficiency. This position requires 90% travel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION
- Manage field service teams to ensure efficient and high-quality project delivery.
- Develop and implement project plans, including risk assessments, and contingency planning.
- Oversee and coordinate workforce scheduling, resource allocation, and logistics for projects.
- Coordinate and manage field service teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Implement and optimize best practices to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Provide training and support to field service personnel as needed in technical support.
- Maintain cost controls and ensure project profitability.
- Manage budgets, costs, and financial performance related to field service operations.
- Responsible for collecting, reviewing and maintaining expenditures and schedules for all field service teams to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely processing.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in field service management, project management, or a similar role.
- Must have a valid U.S. Passport and Real ID
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience in managing service teams, contractors, and cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Trello, or similar tools).
- Willingness to travel as needed to oversee field operations.
