About the role
- At Denyon Homes, our Assistant Site Superintendent supports the construction team by assisting in management of on-site activities and providing post-construction service to homeowners. This role ensures projects are built to company standards, schedules are maintained, and homeowners receive timely, professional warranty service
What you'll do
· Construction Site Support
- Assist the Field Superintendent in managing day-to-day construction site activities
- Support scheduling and coordination of subcontractors, vendors, and deliveries
- Monitor job-site cleanliness, safety compliance, and quality workmanship
- Conduct site walks, inspections, and punch lists, reporting issues to the Superintendent
- Help maintain the construction schedule and communicate progress or delays
- Ensure building plans, specifications, and company standards are followed
- Document site activity, daily reports, and inspection results via Builder-trend
- Build positive relationships with subcontractors, inspectors, and homeowners
- Provide feedback to the Superintendent to improve efficiency and quality
- Assist with service work as needed before project closeout.
Customer Service & Warranty Support
- Respond to homeowner warranty service requests in a timely manner
- Coordinate service appointments with the Customer Service Representative (CSR)
- Perform repairs, adjustments, and general maintenance on completed homes, including:
- Carpentry
- Drywall
- Painting
- Doors/Windows & Hardware
- Diagnose problems and determine the most efficient solutions
- Document all service requests, work performed, and materials used in BuilderTrend
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for specialized trade needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in homes and vehicles
- Communicate with homeowners in a courteous and professional manner, setting clear expectations
- Follow up to ensure repairs meet quality standards and homeowner satisfaction
- Support quality assurance inspections prior to homeowner occupancy and assist in addressing punch-list items
- Attend weekly Customer Service Meetings in person or via Teams.
Qualifications
- Previous construction, site supervision, or residential warranty experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of residential construction practices, tools, and building systems
- Ability to perform general carpentry, drywall, painting, and minor mechanical repairs
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with construction management software (BuilderTrend preferred)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
