Lower Elementary Program (K–2)
Our Lower Elementary Program is the cornerstone of our school, serving students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade through a relationship-based, play-focused model grounded in the DIRFloortime® approach. We specialize in supporting children who are neurodiverse or have related developmental differences, offering a highly individualized and supportive learning environment.

A snapshot of what you'll do during summer camp and throughout the school year:
• Cultivate a positive educational climate for students with disabilities, fostering an atmosphere of respect and rapport
• Design and implement instruction, accommodations, and support in line with state standards, district curriculum, and students' needs
• Observe and evaluate student performance, monitor assessment data, and maintain grades and attendance records
• Provide oversight to teacher assistant and maintain confidential records, inquiries, data, and full-time equivalency (FTE) documentation
• Communicate with parents and school/district personnel regarding student progress and encourage parental involvement
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's Degree or higher and formal training in Exceptional Student Education
• Florida Professional Educator Certificate in Exceptional Student Education preferred, eligibility for Florida Teaching Certificate required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members
• A genuine passion for working with children and families to promote student success
