Job Description

Performance Marketing Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist based in India.

This role is a high-impact acquisition-focused position responsible for driving scalable growth across Google performance marketing channels for both consumer and business financial products. You will own the end-to-end performance ecosystem, from campaign design and technical tracking infrastructure to attribution modelling and LTV/CAC economics. The position requires a strong blend of strategic thinking and hands-on expertise in paid acquisition at scale, particularly within Google Ads environments such as UAC, Performance Max, and Search. You will collaborate closely with data, engineering, and product teams to ensure high-quality tracking, reliable attribution, and data-driven decision-making. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, analytics, and product growth, where signal quality and economic discipline are critical to success. It is designed for someone who thinks in systems, challenges assumptions, and builds sustainable acquisition engines rather than short-term performance spikes.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the full Google acquisition strategy across UAC, Performance Max, and Search campaigns for both personal and business banking products.
  • Design campaign structures, audience segmentation logic, bidding strategies, and creative testing frameworks to optimize performance at scale.
  • Manage end-to-end campaign execution, including planning, launch, optimization, reporting, and continuous iteration.
  • Architect and maintain the end-to-end measurement stack, including GA4, Firebase, GTM, and conversion APIs to ensure accurate tracking.
  • Define and continuously refine attribution models to align with business funnel realities and cohort behavior.
  • Collaborate with engineering and data teams to ensure high-quality event tracking, signal integrity, and reliable data flow into Google systems.
  • Own LTV/CAC modeling, including assumptions, benchmarks, and budget allocation logic across segments and products.
  • Monitor acquisition economics, identify CAC drift, and proactively diagnose performance changes across channel, creative, and audience layers.
  • Build structured reporting and governance frameworks to ensure transparency and actionable performance insights.
  • Translate complex acquisition data into clear business narratives for senior leadership decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with Google advertising policies, particularly within regulated financial services environments.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in paid acquisition, with strong hands-on expertise in Google Ads (UAC, App Campaigns, Performance Max, Search).
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale acquisition budgets and optimize campaigns in complex performance environments.
  • Deep technical understanding of Google Ads infrastructure, including bidding systems, attribution logic, and optimization mechanisms.
  • Experience building and owning measurement stacks (GA4, Firebase, GTM, conversion APIs, enhanced conversions).
  • Strong knowledge of LTV/CAC modeling and ability to apply it to real-world budget and bidding decisions.
  • Experience working in fintech or financial services marketing environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable strategy.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering, analytics, and data science teams on tracking and optimization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with server-side tracking, offline conversion imports, and signal enrichment strategies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and explain performance drivers clearly.
  • Experience in emerging markets or dual-segment acquisition (consumer + SME) is an advantage.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and performance.
  • Opportunity to own and scale a high-impact global acquisition channel.
  • Remote-friendly work structure with flexibility based on business needs.
  • Exposure to large-scale fintech growth challenges in emerging markets.
  • Career growth in a fast-scaling, data-driven performance marketing environment.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams across data, engineering, and product.
  • Learning opportunities in advanced attribution, experimentation, and marketing technology stacks.
  • Inclusive and impact-driven work culture focused on innovation and ownership.
