This role is focused on building, maintaining, and evolving robust backend systems that support high-scale applications in a complex and distributed environment. You will work across development, performance optimization, and production stability, ensuring services remain reliable, observable, and efficient. The position involves deep collaboration with agile squads, contributing to technical discovery, architecture refinement, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will also play a key role in incident analysis, production support, and system enhancements based on real user impact. Working in a highly technical ecosystem, you will interact with modern cloud, messaging, and API-driven architectures. This is a hands-on role where engineering quality, scalability, and operational excellence are central to success.

• Develop, maintain, and support backend applications, ensuring stability, scalability, and high performance across production and non-production environments.
• Analyze system behavior, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements focused on performance, reliability, and optimization.
• Ensure application observability by monitoring metrics, logs, and traces, supporting proactive issue detection and resolution.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to planning, refinement, technical breakdown, and delivery alignment within squads.
• Support production incidents, homologation processes, and deployment of fixes, ensuring smooth system operation and minimal business impact.
• Contribute to technical discovery, solution design, and architecture discussions for strategic and structural initiatives.

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with at least 5 years working with Java (versions 8, 11, 17, or 21).
• Strong experience with microservices, APIs (REST/SOAP), and distributed systems architecture.
• Solid knowledge of version control tools such as Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as Oracle and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with messaging and streaming tools such as Kafka, AWS SQS, and caching technologies like Redis or Caffeine.
• Experience with observability and DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Graylog, Grafana, Sonar, and Jacoco.
• Knowledge of cloud and container platforms such as AWS, OpenShift, and Azure AD integration.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in agile environments.
