Job Description

Inventory Supervisor – Systems & Reporting Focus The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for ensuring accurate, well-controlled inventory management across the site, with a strong emphasis on system utilization, data integrity, and digital reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented leader with both operational inventory expertise and advanced technical skills.Core Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate site inventory levels through effective control processes, regular cycle counts, and reconciliation activities.
  • Track all inventory movements (receipts, storage, transfers, and shipments) to ensure system and physical alignment.
  • Investigate, analyze, and provide clear justifications for inventory variances, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance internal digital reporting tools to support operational visibility and decision-making.
  • Ensure ongoing accuracy, reliability, and usability of inventory data within warehouse management and reporting systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and IT to drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy and reporting processes.
Systems & Technical Requirements
  • Strong experience with inventory management systems (WMS/ERP) and data-driven environments.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for reporting, dashboard creation, and data visualization.
  • Working knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and basic coding/scripting (e.g., SQL, DAX, or similar tools) to support reporting and automation.
  • Ability to manage and optimize digital reporting tools, ensuring accurate and timely performance metrics.

The Inventory Control Supervisor role has a national salary range of $62,000 - $75,000, with bonus potential.

Job Description

To provide guidance and coordination of the non-exempt Inventory Control Team daily activities necessary to maintain accurate inventory records relative to the client service level agreement. The Inventory Control Supervisor will assist site Inventory Control and Operations Leadership and Operations Peers in assessing inventory inaccuracies and recommending corrective action necessary to support continuous process improvement and operational excellence.

  • Ensure customer inventory control accuracy and shrink contractual requirements / service level agreements are monitored and reported timely to site leadership
  • Maximize the performance of the site inventory processes and system to ensure: Care, custody, and control of customer inventory; Accuracy (to floor and customer book); Proper utilization of information technology
  • Provide required documentation to customer, customer's financial statement auditor or appropriate regulatory auditor in support of compliance requirements
  • Ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for associates
  • Conduct associate performance reviews, individual development plans and succession plans
  • Ensure company policies are communicated, administered, and enforced at appropriate levels
  • Ensure associates have proper training and access to the necessary tools to perform their assigned

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent with work related experience in inventory control, logistics or related discipline, required
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience of 4+ years in logistics industry and team supervision, preferred
  • 2+ years relative work experience, required
  • Knowledge of systems such as JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP, etc., required
