Job Description

Product Strategist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Strategist based in the United States.

This role sits at the core of shaping early-stage product direction, where strategy, design, and business thinking converge to define what gets built and why. You will work closely with enterprise clients to translate ambiguous challenges into clear product visions, strategies, and actionable roadmaps that drive meaningful digital experiences at scale. Acting as both an advisor and hands-on strategist, you will influence decisions across product, design, and engineering teams while guiding stakeholders through complex trade-offs. The environment is highly collaborative and client-facing, requiring strong communication, facilitation, and executive presence. You will contribute across discovery, research, and pre-sales engagements, helping shape opportunities from the earliest stages through to execution. This is a role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to complexity, and enjoys operating at the intersection of business strategy and product innovation.

Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for defining product direction, guiding clients through early-stage strategy, and translating insights into clear, actionable product decisions that lead to successful digital experiences.

  • Craft compelling product visions and strategic narratives that guide client decision-making and product direction
  • Develop end-to-end product strategies aligned with business objectives and user needs across digital ecosystems
  • Lead qualitative and quantitative research efforts, including user interviews, surveys, focus groups, and data analysis
  • Conduct market, competitive, and category analysis to identify opportunities and shape differentiated points of view
  • Facilitate workshops, co-creation sessions, and stakeholder discussions to drive alignment and innovation
  • Guide clients through early-stage product definition, prioritization, and decision-making processes
  • Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, including AI, to improve product outcomes and discovery processes
  • Collaborate with business development teams during pre-sales to shape proposals and strategic direction
  • Synthesize user behavior, market trends, and business insights into actionable recommendations
  • Support client teams in moving from concept to launch with clear structure, frameworks, and decision-making guidance
Requirements:

You bring strong product strategy experience with a blend of consulting, digital product delivery, and client advisory work, paired with excellent communication and analytical skills.

  • 5–10 years of experience in product strategy, consulting, or cross-functional product roles
  • Experience bringing consumer-facing digital products to market at scale
  • Background in consulting or advising enterprise clients on digital product strategy and execution
  • Strong understanding of product and business frameworks such as Jobs to Be Done, Design Thinking, and User Journey Mapping
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience working across multiple platforms (web, mobile, and emerging digital ecosystems)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing ambiguity in fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrated passion for digital product design, innovation, and continuous learning
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package (USD $120,000 – $145,000 range)
  • Exposure to leading enterprise clients and high-impact digital product challenges
  • Collaborative, design-led environment with strong emphasis on craft and quality
  • Flexible and people-focused work culture
  • Opportunities for professional growth across strategy, consulting, and product leadership paths
  • Inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and continuous learning
  • Involvement in meaningful, large-scale digital transformation projects.
