As a Lead AI Test Automation Architect, you will shape the next generation of Quality Engineering by combining advanced test automation with generative and agentic AI capabilities. You will design scalable automation architectures and build intelligent testing solutions across UI, API, and performance layers. The role is highly technical and hands-on, requiring strong software engineering skills alongside deep knowledge of LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and AI-enabled workflows. You will help integrate AI-driven quality solutions into modern CI/CD environments and establish engineering standards that scale across teams. As a technical leader, you will mentor engineers and influence QE strategy, architecture, and best practices. - Design and lead scalable, AI-powered test automation frameworks and Quality Engineering solutions.
- Architect and develop intelligent testing workflows using LLMs, generative AI, RAG, and agentic AI technologies.
- Build and integrate AI agents and RAG-based solutions to enhance software testing and quality processes.
- Develop robust UI, API, and performance automation solutions using modern testing frameworks and programming languages.
- Integrate AI-enabled testing and automation capabilities into CI/CD pipelines and broader DevOps workflows.
- Define and drive Quality Engineering strategy, automation architecture, technical standards, and quality practices.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, coverage, reliability, and developer productivity.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across complex automation and AI engineering initiatives.
- Mentor QE and engineering teams, promoting strong software engineering, automation, and AI development practices.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, architecture, and engineering stakeholders in an Agile environment.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of AI-enabled quality engineering practices and enterprise testing capabilities.
- 10–14 years of professional experience in Quality Engineering, SDET, Test Automation, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Strong software development experience with Python, TypeScript, or Java.
- Hands-on expertise with UI automation frameworks such as Playwright or Selenium.
- Strong experience with API automation using tools and frameworks such as PyTest, Requests, or RestAssured.
- Deep practical knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and vector databases.
- Hands-on experience developing AI agents and agentic AI solutions using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
- Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AI-enabled engineering or testing workflows.
- Proven ability to design and lead AI-powered test automation frameworks from architecture through implementation.
- Experience integrating automation, AI solutions, and quality engineering practices into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, test automation strategy, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices.
- Demonstrated technical leadership experience, including architecture ownership, mentoring, and technical decision-making.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with development, product, and architecture teams.
- Experience working in Agile environments and adapting to rapidly evolving technologies.
- CA$80 per hour compensation.
