This role is an opportunity for a Data Engineer to design and evolve scalable data solutions within a modern cloud environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, improving, and supporting data platforms that enable reliable analytics and business outcomes. You will contribute to architecture decisions, process optimization, and the adoption of best practices across data engineering initiatives.
- Document existing data pipelines through code analysis and engineering reverse processes.
- Map execution flows, dependencies, and interactions between different data processes.
- Support planning and execution of data workload migrations.
- Develop automated analysis solutions to accelerate reverse engineering and improve operational efficiency.
- Build scalable and resilient data solutions using AWS cloud technologies.
- Implement architecture improvements focused on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Gather business requirements, translate needs into technical solutions, and maintain clear documentation.
- Apply agile methodologies and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Promote a data-driven culture by aligning technology solutions with business objectives and market best practices.
- Work collaboratively with empathy, strong communication, and a focus on continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is a data professional with solid experience in cloud-based data engineering, distributed processing, and modern analytics platforms. You should combine strong technical knowledge with problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with AWS services, including S3, EMR, Athena, Lambda, SQS, AWS Glue, RDS, and Redshift.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Databricks.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with PySpark.
- Strong understanding of Spark architecture, distributed processing concepts, and related challenges.
- Experience working with Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
- Knowledge of data engineering best practices, scalable architectures, and cloud environments.
- Ability to analyze complex technical scenarios and propose effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in collaborative teams.
- Experience with agile methodologies and business requirement analysis.
