Job Description

Salesforce Alliance Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Alliance Manager based in Canada.

Join a growing professional services organization and play a pivotal role in expanding strategic partnerships across the Salesforce ecosystem. As Salesforce Alliance Manager, you will drive go-to-market initiatives, strengthen relationships with Salesforce account executives and regional leaders, and generate new business opportunities through referrals and partner engagement. You will collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to increase brand visibility, develop targeted outreach strategies, and turn meaningful connections into qualified leads and revenue growth. This is a relationship-driven role that combines networking, event management, partner enablement, and commercial strategy. You will have direct access to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence alliance initiatives while working with a geographically distributed team. Ideal for a proactive, entrepreneurial professional, this position offers the flexibility to manage your schedule, build your industry reputation, and make a measurable impact on business growth.

Accountabilities
  • Execute Salesforce alliance strategy: Support and implement go-to-market initiatives designed to strengthen partnerships, increase referrals, and generate revenue opportunities throughout the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Develop strategic relationships: Build and maintain strong connections with Salesforce account executives, regional vice presidents, sales engineers, and other key stakeholders to expand the partner network and drive lead generation.
  • Organize partner events: Plan and coordinate in-person activities, including quarterly business reviews, lunch-and-learn sessions, networking events, happy hours, and industry-specific customer gatherings. Manage budgets, venues, logistics, and attendance.
  • Drive field engagement: Regularly visit Salesforce offices and attend industry conferences, partner events, and regional gatherings to increase brand awareness and deepen relationships within the assigned territory.
  • Enable Salesforce teams: Communicate the organization's service offerings, differentiators, and areas of expertise to Salesforce representatives, helping them identify opportunities to collaborate and make relevant customer introductions.
  • Generate qualified opportunities: Translate networking activities and partner relationships into actionable leads, customer introductions, referral opportunities, and sales pipeline growth.
  • Coordinate internal sales engagement: Schedule one-to-one meetings between Salesforce representatives and internal Client Partners to strengthen collaboration and advance commercial opportunities.
  • Maintain relationship momentum: Follow up consistently after meetings, events, and enablement sessions to nurture partnerships, maintain engagement, and identify additional opportunities.
  • Develop outreach campaigns: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to create targeted campaigns and engagement strategies that expand the partner network and improve referral generation.
  • Track performance and report results: Monitor key performance indicators, including pipeline generation, office visits, new relationships, meetings booked, and events organized, using insights to refine alliance strategies.
Requirements
  • Professional experience: At least two years of alliance management experience within a professional services firm or independent software vendor (ISV) operating in the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Established partner relationships: Existing relationships within the Salesforce ecosystem, particularly across Financial Services, Communications, Media and Technology (TMT), or Nonprofit sectors.
  • Salesforce ecosystem expertise: Strong understanding of Salesforce's partner landscape, stakeholder structures, and collaboration opportunities.
  • Relationship-building skills: An outgoing, personable approach and a genuine enthusiasm for networking, developing new connections, and building trusted professional relationships.
  • Business development capabilities: Ability to identify commercial opportunities, generate referrals, develop partner engagement strategies, and translate relationships into measurable pipeline growth.
  • Communication and presentation: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to represent the organization, communicate its value proposition, and engage effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Event management experience: Ability to coordinate in-person events, manage logistics and budgets, drive attendance, and maximize the commercial value of partner engagement activities.
  • Self-starter mentality: An entrepreneurial mindset, strong initiative, and the ability to independently plan schedules, prioritize activities, and deliver results without constant supervision.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Ability to work effectively with distributed teams across North America, partnering with Sales, Marketing, and leadership to align activities with business objectives.
  • Organization and accountability: Strong follow-through, time management, and analytical skills, including the ability to track performance metrics and report on outcomes.
  • Geographic preference: Candidates based on the West Coast are strongly preferred.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation: Market-benchmarked compensation, with the applicable salary range determined by region and discussed during the initial interview process.
  • Flexible work arrangements: Work-from-anywhere flexibility, offering autonomy over your schedule and work location.
  • Career-building opportunity: A chance to help establish and expand a strategic alliances function within a well-established, high-growth technology consulting organization.
  • Executive exposure: Direct access to senior leadership and opportunities to influence go-to-market strategy and business outcomes.
  • Professional networking: Opportunities to build valuable relationships across the Salesforce ecosystem and strengthen your industry reputation.
  • Travel and industry events: Opportunities to attend major industry conferences and partner events, including Dreamforce and Salesforce World Tours.
  • Collaborative culture: Work alongside a distributed team that values shared success, knowledge exchange, and professional development.
  • Values-driven environment: A culture emphasizing people-first relationships, authenticity, integrity, accountability, continuous learning, and innovative problem-solving.
  • Inclusive workplace: Equal-opportunity employment practices and a commitment to welcoming professionals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
