This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Partner Events Manager based in Canada.

We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Partner Events Manager to coordinate the planning and execution of high-impact partner events. In this role, you will work closely with partner marketing teams, internal stakeholders, speakers, production teams, and external agencies to deliver engaging and memorable event experiences. You will oversee multiple workstreams, ensuring that timelines, content development, speaker preparation, and production requirements remain aligned. Your ability to transform creative concepts into actionable plans will be essential to delivering polished, high-quality events. You will also help shape compelling event narratives, prepare speakers for successful presentations, and ensure seamless collaboration across teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced events professional to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Accountabilities
  • Manage end-to-end event coordination: Plan and execute partner participation in priority events, maintaining clear project timelines, milestones, responsibilities, and dependencies across partner marketing, internal teams, event organizers, and external agencies.
  • Develop engaging event content: Collaborate with Product Marketing and Partnerships teams to create and refine event materials, including breakout session scripts, presentation decks, and supporting content.
  • Coordinate content reviews and approvals: Provide actionable feedback, consolidate stakeholder input, and ensure event materials align with objectives, audience expectations, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and coach speakers: Organize speaker briefings, preparation sessions, and rehearsals for internal and external partners, providing constructive feedback to improve presentation quality and confidence.
  • Translate creative concepts into production requirements: Work closely with event production teams to communicate the intended content, format, and overall experience, ensuring clear execution guidelines.
  • Support on-site event delivery: Coordinate speaker readiness, manage last-minute content updates, oversee production handoffs, and resolve issues efficiently during live events.
  • Maintain stakeholder alignment: Communicate project progress, key decisions, risks, dependencies, and next steps, escalating concerns early to keep deliverables on schedule.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Collect post-event feedback, document lessons learned, and recommend improvements to strengthen future partner events and event delivery processes.
Requirements
  • Professional experience: At least 5 years of experience in event management or event coordination, preferably within partner marketing, marketing, or a technology-focused organization.
  • Project management skills: Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, coordinate complex projects, maintain detailed timelines, and deliver high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
  • Communication expertise: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear direction, synthesize feedback, communicate decisions, and maintain alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Event content development: Experience creating and refining event presentations, scripts, and other content, with a strong understanding of storytelling, audience engagement, narrative structure, and visual communication.
  • Speaker coaching and facilitation: Experience preparing speakers and leading rehearsals, with the confidence to provide constructive feedback and support presenters, including senior stakeholders and executives.
  • Production coordination: Ability to translate event objectives and creative concepts into clear, actionable requirements for production teams and external vendors.
  • Relationship management: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive working relationships with internal teams, external partners, agencies, and suppliers.
  • Organizational excellence: Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to quality while adapting to changing requirements and competing priorities.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving: A proactive approach to identifying risks, resolving issues, and maintaining momentum in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are firm.
  • Location and availability: Must be based in Canada, available to work full-time during Eastern Time business hours, Monday through Friday, and able to travel to the United States when required.
Benefits
  • Remote flexibility: Work remotely from anywhere in Canada.
  • Full-time engagement: 40 hours per week, structured around an 8-hour workday from Monday to Friday.
  • Defined contract opportunity: Initial contract duration of 6+ months, with the possibility of extension.
  • Collaborative environment: Opportunity to work with cross-functional marketing, partnerships, events, and production teams.
  • Professional development: Gain experience managing high-profile partner events, coordinating diverse stakeholders, and strengthening event strategy and execution skills.
  • Creative impact: Contribute to compelling event content and memorable partner experiences in a dynamic, technology-oriented environment.
  • Travel opportunities: Potential to support event execution on-site in the United States.
