About the Role:

As a Drafter in the manufacturing industry, you will play a critical role in transforming conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings that guide the production process. Your work will ensure that all construction and engineering specifications are accurately represented, facilitating seamless communication between design, engineering, and construction teams. You will be responsible for creating precise shop drawings, bill of materials, and construction drawings using advanced computer-aided design software. This role demands a high level of attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex engineering data to produce clear and comprehensive documentation. Ultimately, your contributions will directly impact the efficiency, quality, and success of manufacturing projects across various stages of development.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Drafter or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry.
• Proficiency in creating detailed technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, engineering drawings, and bill of materials.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering and architectural plans.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or certification in drafting, CAD, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with 3D modeling and advanced computer-aided design tools.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to manufacturing and construction.
• Strong sketching skills to support initial design concepts and revisions.
• Previous experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed construction and engineering drawings using CAD and SolidWorks software.
• Prepare and maintain accurate bill of materials and shop drawings to support manufacturing and construction teams.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure design intent is accurately captured and implemented.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback and changes in project scope or specifications.
• Assist in construction management by providing technical drawing support and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
