Job Description

Safety & Workers’ Compensation Coordinator

BFC Solutions is seeking a Safety & Workers’ Compensation Coordinator to work directly with our Safety Director in supporting employees and field operations across the country. This position combines claims coordination, safety training, and compliance administration, with regular interaction across HR, operations, and outside partners.

Your work will help employees receive timely support following workplace injuries, keep safety training on schedule, and maintain accurate compliance records. The role offers varied responsibilities and the opportunity to build on your experience in workers’ compensation, safety, and operational compliance.

Candidates with backgrounds in HR coordination, claims support, safety administration, or compliance support are encouraged to apply. Strong organization, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through are essential.

While this is considered an in-office position, Monday - Friday, there is a potential for a hybrid schedule (in office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and work from home Monday and Friday) for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate workers’ compensation claims documentation from initial reporting through status updates and return-to-work tracking.
  • Work with managers, HR, clinics, and insurance partners to obtain information and keep claims moving.

  • Prepare and update training materials, presentations, toolbox talks, and safety communications.
  • Maintain training records for new hires and current employees.

Driving Safety Administration

  • Review dashcam footage and driving-event information, document findings, and communicate with appropriate managers.
  • Coordinate and track follow-up, including coaching and retraining.

Compliance and Reporting

  • Maintain company information and required submissions in customer safety portals and contractor prequalification systems.
  • Keep OSHA logs, training records, certificates, written programs, and other safety documentation current.
  • Prepare recurring reports and support audit preparation and customer compliance requests.

Required Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in safety administration, claims coordination, HR coordination, compliance support, or a related administrative role.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines, coordinate follow-up, and obtain information from multiple stakeholders.
