Secretary Position

We are seeking a Full Time Unit Secretary for our 34-bed Medical unit. On this unit, we are proud to serve adult and pediatric patients with a wide variety of diagnoses. Our cohesive team is a family of caregivers whose passion is putting patients first, with healing hands and servant's hearts. Our mission is to serve every patient and their guests with excellent care, every time.

Secretary - Responsibilities:

  • Provide organizational, receptionist and clerical support to patient care units and the health care team.
  • Communicates effectively via a variety of modalities with patients, visitors and facility staff and plays an integral role in communication across the continuum of care.
  • Functions as a resource to members of the health care team and is familiar with multiple BRMC resources.
  • Secretarial activities complement the patient care delivery model.
  • Carry out all aspects of the job using good judgement and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal skills, and assumes responsibility for self-development within the role and participates in continuous improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidence based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.

Secretary - Job Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Previous experience preferred, but not required.
  • Other: Basic knowledge of computer systems and strong keyboarding skills.
