National Sales Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a National Sales Manager in the United States.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven sales leader to oversee national account growth and strategic customer partnerships across multiple industries. This role combines team leadership with direct ownership of key enterprise relationships, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a player-coach environment. You will lead a high-performing sales team while personally managing senior stakeholder relationships and driving expansion within major accounts. Working cross-functionally with operations, recruitment, customer success, and commercial teams, you will help shape scalable workforce solutions and deliver measurable business outcomes. Accountabilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of National Account Executives, fostering a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and customer success.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews, forecast assessments, and deal coaching sessions to support team achievement of revenue and growth objectives.
  • Drive the acquisition of national and multi-site customer contracts by coaching team members through complex sales cycles and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Support commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract development to ensure profitable and scalable customer partnerships.
  • Serve as the senior Account Director for strategic corporate accounts, managing executive-level relationships and overseeing long-term account growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across procurement, human resources, operations, finance, and executive leadership teams.
  • Lead executive business reviews, strategic account planning initiatives, and customer expansion strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to expand customer engagements across multiple locations, markets, and business units.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless account onboarding, rollout planning, service delivery, and customer retention.
  • Remove operational barriers, anticipate growth challenges, and coordinate resources to support successful account implementation and expansion.
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment across sales, operations, recruitment, customer success, and other business functions.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise sales, strategic account management, workforce solutions, or a related business development environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading, coaching, and developing sales or account management teams.
  • Proven success managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and enterprise-level customer relationships.
  • Experience working with national, regional, or multi-site accounts and driving post-sale growth and expansion initiatives.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including forecasting, margin management, and business planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to influence senior decision-makers and maintain credibility with executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate business opportunities and operational challenges.
  • Experience using CRM platforms and collaboration tools such as Salesforce and other business technologies.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer outcomes and business performance.
  • Experience within staffing, workforce solutions, HR technology, SaaS, MSP, VMS, RPO, Industrial, Logistics, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Hospitality sectors is preferred.
  • Experience leading national account sales teams and growing enterprise accounts after contract execution is highly desirable.

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $125,000 to $150,000 annually.
  • Additional performance-based compensation with an On-Target Bonus (OTB) of $75,000.
