Senior Implementation Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Implementation Manager in the United States.

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end onboarding and implementation of high-value enterprise customers, ensuring a seamless transition from sale to live deployment. You will act as the primary partner for customer stakeholders, including senior and executive leaders, guiding them through complex implementation journeys in a structured and confident manner. This position requires strong project leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple internal and external teams in a fast-paced environment. You will manage a small portfolio of strategic clients, balancing precision, speed, and high-quality delivery. The role is highly cross-functional, with close collaboration across product, engineering, customer success, and operations teams. You will also play a key role in improving implementation processes and shaping scalable onboarding practices for enterprise customers.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will own the full lifecycle of enterprise customer implementations, ensuring smooth execution from kickoff through go-live while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment and an excellent customer experience. You will be responsible for managing complex, multi-workstream projects and driving accountability across internal and external teams.

  • Lead end-to-end implementation for a portfolio of 5–7 enterprise and strategic customers, from planning through deployment and handoff
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders, including executive-level partners
  • Develop, manage, and execute detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones across multiple workstreams
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across product, engineering, customer success, and operations to ensure successful delivery
  • Proactively identify risks, manage escalations, and ensure timely resolution of implementation challenges
  • Maintain clear, structured communication through regular status updates and executive-level reporting
  • Continuously evaluate and improve implementation processes to enhance scalability and efficiency
Requirements

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in implementation or project management within SaaS or enterprise environments, with a proven ability to manage complex customer-facing delivery programs. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident working with senior stakeholders in fast-moving contexts.

  • 6–8+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, project management, or customer delivery roles
  • Proven track record of managing complex, high-value enterprise implementations with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight timelines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level interaction experience
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and influencing without direct authority
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies such as Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, or Agile/Waterfall approaches
  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, HR tech, or benefits platforms is a plus
