This role plays a key part in supporting physician privileging and credentialing processes within a fast-growing telemedicine environment. You will act as the primary liaison between healthcare facilities’ Medical Staff Offices and internal credentialing teams, ensuring that providers are properly privileged and reappointments are completed accurately and on time. The position requires close coordination across multiple stakeholders to maintain compliance with facility requirements and regulatory standards. You will manage detailed provider files, track privileging cycles, and ensure all documentation is complete and up to date. This is a highly detail-oriented and deadline-driven role that directly supports patient care readiness and operational continuity. It is ideal for someone who thrives in structured, process-driven healthcare environments with strong administrative and coordination responsibilities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Medical Staff Offices to support provider privileging and reappointment processes.
- Coordinate with internal credentialing, licensing, and onboarding teams to ensure provider files are complete and ready for submission.
- Review privileging applications and reappointments for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with facility requirements.
- Manage privileging workflows using credentialing systems (including Salesforce) and maintain accurate tracking of all status updates.
- Communicate with physicians and facility stakeholders to request missing information and resolve documentation issues.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of privileging cycles, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all privileging activities and ensure documentation meets internal quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement of credentialing and privileging processes through attention to detail and operational feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or high school diploma with 1–2 years of experience in medical staff services, credentialing, or healthcare administration.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare privileging or credentialing processes.
- Experience working with credentialing systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interaction with physicians, hospitals, and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy in complex documentation processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
- Preferred: CPCS certification or knowledge of Joint Commission standards.
