The Security Manager will support the Director of security in several key areas that will enhance the team’s ability to sustain a high level of services for a growing property. The Security Manager will implement the tactics and behaviors established in support of the overall security strategy set by the DOS.

Evenings 6pm - 2am (3-4 days per week; including weekends)

Essential Functions

  • Accountable attending engagement activities, training and organizational meetings.
  • Off duty police officer staffing (scheduling) for property
  • Mustang associate written report review to ensure quality and content
  • Address equipment and maintenance needs of the team (golf cart, bikes, uniforms, and safety gear)
  • Assume responsibility of on-going training curriculum for the security team (track and schedule)
  • Conduct monthly administrative checks for Mustang overnight shift (touch point, silvertrac issue follow-up and report review)
  • Conduct investigative follow-up on crimes that occurred on property in support of the Director of security
  • Conduct weekly property assessments for issues (safety, security, monitor homeless issues around perimeter of property)
  • Monthly touch points with each associate to address associate concerns, performance, report writing etc…(document and track)
  • Address any remedial training needs per associate
  • Facilitate recognitions, individual and accomplishments

Supervisory Responsibility

Responsible for supervising Oxbow security associates, C shift security associates

Work Environment

This position is mostly outdoor with occasional indoor office work. There is significant exposure to people, to include some that can be discourteous or intoxicated. There may be exposure to potentially hazardous situations, such as responding to fire or burglar alarms.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

15 years (local, state, federal) law enforcement

State of Texas Level II Non-Commissioned Officer certification is helpful but not required.
