This is a partner-facing sales role focused on helping merchant portfolios identify payment savings, improve pricing strategies, and increase revenue opportunities. You will combine payments expertise, financial analysis, and consultative selling to turn merchant data into actionable recommendations. Working closely with channel partners and sales teams, you will help develop opportunities, support negotiations, and win back previously lost business. The role provides direct exposure to merchants across diverse industries and business sizes. You will operate with significant autonomy in a remote environment where results, expertise, and collaboration are highly valued. It is an opportunity to make a measurable contribution to revenue growth while developing deeper expertise in payments and partner-led sales.
- Analyze merchant processing statements and translate financial and payment data into clear, actionable insights and savings opportunities.
- Develop compelling sales narratives and customized recommendations that help partner teams close new business and recover lost opportunities.
- Participate in partner and merchant calls to provide payments expertise, answer questions, support negotiations, and explain proposed solutions.
- Proactively manage pipeline activity associated with partner-sourced leads, identifying follow-up opportunities, re-engagement strategies, and additional areas of customer value.
- Collaborate closely with partner account managers and channel sales teams to develop account strategies and execute sales opportunities effectively.
- Serve as a trusted payments advisor to partners and their sales organizations during competitive merchant conversations.
- Help merchants understand pricing structures, payment solutions, and the potential financial benefits of recommended approaches.
- Maintain accurate and current opportunity and activity records in Salesforce.
- Produce regular reports on opportunity status, pipeline activity, and the impact of sales initiatives.
- Balance multiple partner and merchant opportunities while maintaining a high level of responsiveness and customer service.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in merchant services, payment processing, payments technology, financial services, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing merchant statements and using financial information to develop customized payment solutions.
- Strong understanding of payment processing concepts, pricing structures, merchant economics, and savings opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex payment concepts clearly.
- Strong storytelling and presentation abilities, particularly when translating financial analysis into compelling sales recommendations.
- Experience working directly with partners, merchants, sales teams, or other customer-facing stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to perform financial and commercial analysis.
- Comfortable supporting customers and partners across different business sizes, industries, and use cases.
- Strong commercial judgment, analytical thinking, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a fully remote environment.
