Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 5+ years of relevant experience to support Sungrow’s expanding operations. This position will serve as a key contributor in inventory and cost accounting, with responsibility for inventory valuation, reconciliations, operational cost analysis, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical capabilities, and experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. This role will collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Warehouse, Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure financial accuracy, strengthen internal controls, improve business processes, and deliver meaningful insights that support operational efficiency and business growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, renewable energy, or project-based environments.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with hands-on experience in revenue recognition. Experience in cost accounting and inventory accounting is highly preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, including inventory management and procurement processes.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Work Location and Status:
- Full-time, Huston, TX
- Hybrid work environment (min. 2 days in office)
